IPMAT

IPMAT stands for Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test.

It is an entrance exam conducted by IIM Indore for admission into its five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM)

Selection Procedure:

The candidates will be selected based on overall performance in Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Any candidate who fails to appear either in Aptitude Test or in a Personal Interview or both shall not be considered for selection.

Pattern of Aptitude Test:

1. There will be three sections in the Aptitude Test namely Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ).
2. Each question will carry 4 marks
3. There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking).
4. The AT will be structured as under
   

   Section	Time duration of the Section
   QA (MCQ)	40 Minutes
   QA (SA)	40 Minutes
   VA (MCQ)	40 Minutes

    

5. Candidate must answer the sections in a pre-specified order and this order will remain same for all the candidates. The above table does not indicate the final order of sections.
