The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Management Programme(s) in the country. This Test facilitates AICTE affiliated participating Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses in such Institutions.
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)
CMAT will be conducted by NTA as three-hour entrance Examination in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode to evaluate the candidates’ ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship, for admission to the Management Courses in. The participating Institutes of CMAT are the Institutions which will be accepting the CMAT Score.
NTA has no role in counselling for admission to the Management Programmes. Candidates must apply separately to the desired CMAT participating Institutions with the CMAT Score. Thereafter, each Participating Institutions will release their respective cut off CMAT Scores which a candidate should meet to get qualified for admission to that particular Institution. Once qualified, the candidate will have to comply with the selection procedure of that particular Institution, which may comprise of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of the candidate will be based on the candidate’s performance in GD & PI.

Eligibility Criteria for CMAT-2025
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s Degree, whose result will be declared before commencement of admission can also apply for CMAT.
The candidate must be a citizen of India
